What is Meditation and Mindfulness?

Meditation and mindfulness are not just practices, they are our natural state. Mindfulness is the awareness of the present moment, while meditation is the deep resting in that awareness. But beyond technique, life itself is meditation. Every breath, every sensation, every thought is part of the unfolding now. When we stop chasing and simply observe, we realise we are not separate from this moment, we are this moment. The stillness we seek isn’t something to achieve; it’s something to remember. We are already that: pure awareness, presence, and peace. Meditation is coming home to who you truly are.

What Does a Typical Session Involve?

During a Meditation and Mindfulness session, you’ll begin with breathwork to settle the body and quiet the mind. You will be guided in a variety of different types of meditations, tailored personally for you. This is not just sitting with eyes closed and watching your thoughts, this is presence and connection with your true essence, who you truly are. 

Sessions can be offered as one-to-one, in groups or within a corporate setting. They can also be blended with HeartMath techniques and Breathwork, facilitating a deeper connection within. Meditation and Mindfulness is also a core part of our regular Just Relax group classes.
